Fistulas are the inflammation caused by some injury as well as surgery that leads to sores or ulcers that are formed on the inside wall of the intestine or nearby organs. The ulcers can extend through the entire thickness of the bowel wall, creating the tunnel to drain the pus from the area infected through this.
Fistulas are formed from inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. There are different types of fistulas and the fistula operation cost varies according to the type of fistula and the severity of the case.

Anal Fistula
The anal fistula is the fistula formed around the anus. There are three types of fistula growth around the anus.
- Anorectal Fistula- The fistula that forms between the anal canal and the skin around the anal opening is called an anorectal fistula.
- Rectovaginal Fistula- This is also known as Anovaginal Fistula. The hole is developed between the rectum and the vagina and this development of the hole is called a Rectovaginal or Anovaginal Fistula.
- Colovaginal Fistula- The fistula, sometimes, may occur between the colon and the vagina. This is called a Colovaginal fistula.
Enteroenteric Fistula
This is the form of the fistula which is formed between the two parts of the intestine. Sometimes, a fistula may occur between the small intestine and the skin or the colon and the skin too.
